...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...
East Fork White River at Seymour.
Wabash River at Terre Haute.
...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Illinois...
Wabash River at Montezuma...and at Hutsonville down to Riverton.
.Recent thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall up to two to four
inches across central Indiana. Minor flooding will begin on middle
portions of the Wabash River today...at on the East Fork White River
at Seymour this evening.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.
* WHEN...From this morning to late Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Montezuma agricultural levee is
overtopped. Fourteen hundred acres of low bottomlands flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 18.6 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
