* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1035 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up
to 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Carmel, Fishers, Greenwood,
Lawrence, Franklin, Beech Grove, Speedway, Southport,
Westfield, New Whiteland, Cumberland, Whiteland,
Bargersville, Meridian Hills, Warren Park, Homecroft, Rocky
Ripple and Williams Creek.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
