At 925 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast of Mount Sterling, or 20 miles north of Pittsfield, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Mount Sterling, Perry, Versailles, Chambersburg, Coopertown and La Grange.
Instruction: 
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT Wednesday for a portion of west central Illinois.
