Description:
At 737 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Pesotum to Hume to near Newport. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Paris, Tolono, Villa Grove, Philo, Chrisman, Ridge Farm, Oakland,
Newman, Sidell, Pesotum, Camargo, Sadorus, Hume, Broadlands, Brocton,
Allerton, Edgar County Airport, Edgar, Hindsboro, and Indianola.
This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 214 and 227.
This also includes Walnut Point State Park.
