Description:
At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jeisyville to Owaneco to near Herrick.
Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Taylorville, Pana, Shelbyville, Kincaid, Assumption, Stonington,
Cowden, Tower Hill, Herrick, Owaneco, Jeisyville, Rosamond,
Clarksburg, Palmer, Oconee, Willeys, Sharpsburg, Mode, Lakewood, and
Westervelt.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
