Description:
* WHAT...Heat index values 100 to 105 expected.
* WHERE...In Illinois, Livingston, Ford, Iroquois, La Salle, Grundy,
and Kankakee Counties. In Indiana, Benton, Jasper, and Newton
Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Friday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses especially after several days of dangerous heat.
Instruction:
Consider altering outdoor plans. If outdoors for prolonged periods of
time, wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Take action when
you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
