Description:
At 112 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Parkersburg to 6 miles
northwest of Corydon. Movement was south at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. Torrential rainfall, and frequent
cloud to ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Albion, Grayville, Poseyville, Uniontown, New Harmony,
Crossville, Blairsville, Waverly, Bone Gap, Griffin, Maunie, Browns,
Mount Erie, Golden Gate, and Phillipstown.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 64 in Indiana between Mile Markers 1 and 14.
Interstate 64 in Illinois between Mile Markers 120 and 130.
