* WHAT...High temperatures in the mid to upper 90s, with stifling
humidity creating Peak Heat Index values up to around 105 degrees.
* WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.
* WHEN...From 11 AM CDT /noon EDT/ to 8 PM CDT /9 PM EDT/ Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
