At 604 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Charleston, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Charleston and Ashmore around 610 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Loxa, Hindsboro, Bushton, Walnut Point State Park, Fairgrange, and Coles County Airport. This also includes Walnut Point State Park. This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 191 and 208.
