Description: 
At 652 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Gallatin Lake, which is 10 miles northeast of West Yellowstone, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Twin Lakes and Grizzly Lake around 700 PM MDT. Norris Junction and Obsidian Cliff around 705 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Grebe Lake, Virginia Cascade, Cascade Lake, Canyon and Lower Falls.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
