...RED FLAG WARNING FOR WIND/RH FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING...
.Dry and increasingly windy weather will develop Friday afternoon
in the Owyhee Mountains and Southern Highlands in Idaho ahead of
a cold front expected to pass through Friday night. Concern is
greatest in the southern half of those zones.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 423 Owyhee
Mountains and 426 Southern Highlands.
* TIMING...From 2 PM this afternoon to 8 PM MDT this evening.
* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...10 to 15 percent.
* TEMPERATURES...80 to 86 degrees.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

are either occurring now, or will occur shortly.
