Description: 
At 817 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cascade, or 27 miles south of McCall, moving north at 60 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Cascade, Smiths Ferry, Donnelly, Big Creek Summit, Sage Hen Reservoir, Indian Mountain, Granite Peak, Tamarack Ski Area, Boiling Springs, Cascade Reservoir, and Horsethief Reservoir.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes.
