Description: 
At 543 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Initial Point to 6 miles south of Blacks Creek Reservoir. Movement was north at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust reducing visibility. Locations impacted include... Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Garden City, Blacks Creek Reservoir, Lucky Peak Dam, Aldape Summit, Initial Point, Hidden Springs, and Lucky Peak Reservoir.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
