...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES THROUGH TONIGHT... ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... .The current long-period south swell will hold steady through tonight before slowly declining Monday. Building east swell from Hurricane Fausto will keep surf heights along east facing shores elevated above High Surf Advisory criteria through Wednesday afternoon and may need to be upgraded to a High Surf Warning as this swell peaks Monday night into Tuesday. * WHAT...Surf building to 10 to 14 feet. * WHERE...East facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands. * WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
