...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES THROUGH TONIGHT... ...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR EAST FACING SHORES THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON... .The current long-period south swell will hold steady through tonight before slowly declining Monday. Building east swell from Hurricane Fausto will keep surf heights along east facing shores elevated above High Surf Advisory criteria through Wednesday afternoon and may need to be upgraded to a High Surf Warning as this swell peaks Monday night into Tuesday. * WHAT...Surf up to 10 feet. * WHERE...South facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands. * WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Monday. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
