...HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES THROUGH TONIGHT... .The current long-period south swell will hold steady at advisory levels through at least the morning hours, then begin a slow decline late this afternoon through the end of the week. * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 10 feet. * WHERE...Portions of Kahoolawe, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau, Oahu and the Big Island. * WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening. * IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
