* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The entire island of Kauai.
* WHEN...Until 100 AM HST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in
streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 952 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the entire
island of Kauai. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to
1.5 inches per hour.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
The entire island of Kauai.
Instruction:
Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.
