Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Guam...along and east of Marine Corps Drive,
from Dededo northeast to Andersen AFB.
* WHEN...Until 630 PM ChST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other
areas is occurring or is imminent. Rises in small streams.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 537 PM ChST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 0.4 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.4 to 1.2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dededo, Tamuning, Yigo, Mangilao, Barrigada and Andersen AFB.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
