Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...South Central Guam...especially between Talofofo and
Merizo.
* WHEN...Until 515 PM ChST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 313 PM ChST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding.
Between 0.8 and 1.6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.8 to 2.2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Talofofo, Inarajan, Merizo and Umatac.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
