Description: 
At 936 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Wrens, or 13 miles southwest of Fort Gordon, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Waynesboro, Fort Gordon, Hephzibah, McBean, South Augusta, Augusta Regional Airport, Blythe, Keysville, Leitner Lake Conference Center, New Savannah Bluff Lock & Dam Park, Bath-Edie, Pea Patch Aerodrome, Westover, Bennock Mill, Miles Park, Richmond County Recreation Center, Shell Bluff, Ellwood, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, and Diamond Lakes Regional Park. This includes Interstate 520 in Georgia between mile markers 6 and 11.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
