Description:
At 349 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Whitemarsh Island to 6 miles south
of Montgomery, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tybee Island, Midtown Savannah, Wilmington Island, Coffee Bluff,
Windsor Forest, Hunter Army Airfield, Downtown Savannah, Hutchinson
Island, Fort Pulaski National Monument and Montgomery.
This includes I-16 between mile markers 166 and 168.
