Description:
At 1044 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 29 miles north of Perkins to 23 miles
west of Gordonia Altamaha State Park, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Hinesville, Statesboro, Reidsville, Metter, Glennville, Allendale,
Millen, Sylvania, Claxton and Pembroke.
This includes I-16 between mile markers 96 and 142.
