Description:
At 605 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Montgomery, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Coffee Bluff, Windsor Forest, Montgomery, Vernonburg, Skidaway
Island, Fort Mcallister, Rio Vista, Ossabaw Island, Burnside and
Mount Herman.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
