Description:
At 1220 AM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from near Due West to near Dallas. These storms were nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially
in poor drainage areas.
Locations impacted include...
Marietta, Dallas, Kennesaw, Acworth, Powder Springs, Hiram, Emerson,
Lost Mountain Park, Oak Grove, Kennesaw State University,
Brownsville, George Washington Carver St Pk, Cross Roads, Due West,
New Hope, and New Georgia.
Instruction:
Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.
