Description:
At 254 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Ray City to 9 miles southwest
of Hahira. Movement was north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Adel, Quitman, Valdosta, Hahira, Morven, Cecil, Cottle, Barney, New
Lois, Greggs, Pine Valley, I-75 At Exit 29, and Massee.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
