Description:
At 407 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Enigma, or 12 miles south of Ocilla, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tifton, Enigma, Alapaha, Unionville, Vanceville, Gladys, Glory,
Harding, Pinetta, Bannockburn, Tift Airport, Weber, and Brookfield.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
south central Georgia.
