Description: 
At 921 PM EDT, a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line extending from near Blue Ridge to Qualatchee Lake, and moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...40 to 50 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to ground lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Gainesville, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, Blue Ridge, Oakwood, Suches, Dougherty, Amicalola Falls State Park, Sequoyah Lake, Juno, Fausett Lake, Len Foote Hike Inn, Murrayville, Cartecay, Pisgah, Cherry Log, Stover Creek Shelter, Turners Corner, War Hill Park, and Gaddistown.
Instruction: 
People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for north central and northeastern Georgia.
