Description:
At 715 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Chesterfield, or 8
miles northeast of Little River Canyon National Preserve, moving east
at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Heavy rain may cause temporary street flooding especially
in poor drainage areas.
Locations impacted include...
Summerville, Lyerly, Menlo, Cloudland, Berryton, James H. Floyd State
Park, and Holland.
Instruction:
Motorists should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of
control due to hydroplaning.
