Description:
At 615 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Jesup to near Gardi to near Waynesville.
Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
Locations impacted include...
Jesup, Gardi, Thalmann, Everett, Waynesville, Doctortown, Mount
Pleasant, and Broadhurst.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
