* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...South Central Ben Hill County in south central Georgia...
Northwestern Irwin County in south central Georgia...
Northwestern Tift County in south central Georgia...
Southeastern Turner County in south central Georgia...
* WHEN...Until 845 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 804 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tifton, Fitzgerald, Mystic, Waterloo, Irwinville Airport,
Harding, Irwinville, Chula, Sunsweet, Fitzgerald Municipal A/P
and Hillsdale.
