Description:
At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles south of Lake Kissimmee to near
Sebring Regional Airport to near Venus. Movement was northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Sebring Regional Airport, Sylvan
Shores, Lake Istokpoga, Venus, Indian Lake Estates, River Ranch,
Sebring Shores, Lake Josephine, Placid Lakes, Archbold, Lorida, and
Avon Park Air Force Range.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
