Description:
At 456 PM EDT/356 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of
Eglin Air Force Base to 9 miles east of Santa Rosa Beach to near Lynn
Haven. These storms were nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lynn Haven, Santa Rosa Beach, Eglin Air Force Base, Freeport, Ebro,
Portland, Southport, Seminole Hills, Blue Mountain Beach, Seaside,
Brannonville, Gulf Pines, Bunker, Vicksburg, Grayton Beach,
Sandestin, Four Mile Village, Bayhead, West Bay, and Recota Beach.
Instruction:
