Description:
At 308 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Midway, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Tallahassee State College, Midway, Havana, Doak Campbell
Stadium, Lake Bradford, Freemont, Littman, Lake Iamonia, Florence,
Scotland, Orchard Pond, Messer Park, Gibson, Griffin Heights, Fred
George Park, Shady Rest, Silver Lake Rec Area, Lake Jackson, and
Branchville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
