At 1149 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Boca Grande, moving north at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
North Port, Punta Gorda, Englewood, Port Charlotte, Gulf Cove, El
Jobean, Placida, Rotonda, Charlotte Harbor, Grove City, and Charlotte
Park.
Instruction:
