Description:
At 317 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Crescent Beach, or 12 miles south of Saint
Augustine, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Saint Augustine, Saint Augustine Beach, Marineland, Crescent Beach,
Saint Augustine Shores, Butler Beach, Saint Augustine South,
Anastasia, and Dupont Center.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
