Description:
At 224 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fleming Island, or near Green Cove Springs, moving northeast at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Mandarin, Fruit Cove, Nas Jax,
Fleming Island, Bayard, Switzerland, and Lakeside.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
