Description:
At 559 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Columbia, or 10 miles southwest of Lake City, moving northwest at 10
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Mcalpin, and Obrien.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
