Description:
At 703 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Delancy, or 7 miles northeast of Fort McCoy, moving north at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Interlachen, Fort McCoy, Salt Springs, Lake Delancy, Orange Springs,
Hollister, Satsuma, Welaka, Hog Valley, and Mannville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
