Description:
At 546 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms over Providence, or 11 miles northwest of Worthington
Spring, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Lake Butler, Palestine Community, Providence, and Lulu.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
