Description:
At 551 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm near Intersection Krome And U.S. 27, or 11
miles west of Miramar, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Weston, East Toll Gate On Alligator Alley,
Intersection Krome And U.S. 27, and Country Club.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
