Description:
At 738 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers over Fort
Caroline, or 7 miles northeast of Arlington, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 to 45 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, Mayport, Talbot Island, Craig Field,
Little Talbot Island, and Fort Caroline.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northeastern Florida.
