At 943 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Providence, or 9 miles east of Ichetucknee Spring, moving southwest at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph, excessive cloud-to-ground lightning, and minor flooding due to heavy rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is occurring. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible. Locations impacted include... High Springs, Fort White, Upland Pines, and Providence.
