Description: 
At 554 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chuluota to near Lone Cabbage Fish Camp to near Palm Bay. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Palm Bay, Melbourne, Titusville, Rockledge, and Cocoa.
Instruction: 
Excessive cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Seek safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. When thunder roars, go indoors! Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
