Description:
At 457 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking
a strong thunderstorm 10 miles west of Miccosukee Resort, or 21 miles
northwest of The Redland. This storm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Miami-Dade
County.
Instruction:
These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the
storm passes.
