Description:
At 140 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 13 miles south of Stephen Foster State Park to
near Taylor. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts around 40 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground
lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Excessive cloud-to-ground lightning is
occurring.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Baker, southeastern Ware and south central Charlton Counties.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
