* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Connecticut, including the following
areas, Northern Fairfield, Northern Middlesex, Northern New Haven,
Southern Fairfield, Southern Middlesex and Southern New Haven.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A slow moving low pressure system is bringing periods of
heavy showers and thunderstorms to the area this morning.
Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches, with locally higher
amounts, could lead to flooding.
