Description:
At 1236 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
thunderstorms with heavy rainfall from around Windsor Locks into the
Springfield area, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minimal. Water on roads or in low lying areas that flood
easily.
Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Chicopee, Enfield, Vernon, Windsor, Agawam, West
Springfield, South Windsor, Ludlow, Longmeadow, Suffield, East
Longmeadow, Ellington, Tolland, Belchertown, Wilbraham, Windsor
Locks, Palmer, Stafford, and Somers.
Instruction:
Do not drive through flooded roads or underpasses.
