Description:
At 128 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Bayfield, or 24 miles east of Durango, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of west
central Archuleta and eastern La Plata Counties.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
