Description:
At 412 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Rush, or 37
miles east of Colorado Springs, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. Several weather stations in eastern El
Paso county were reporting 60 to 70 mph winds.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Truckton, Yoder, and Rush.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
