Description:
At 343 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Atwood, or 6
miles southwest of Sterling, moving southeast at 15 mph.
THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR MERINO.
HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect
shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and
vehicles.
Locations impacted include...
Merino, Atwood and Logan Corners.
Instruction:
Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a
well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing destructive
hail and widespread damaging winds.
